DeliveryWhen a sufficient quantity of xenon is magnetized, we immerse the glassware containing the frozen xenon into a bath of warm water. Xenon becomes a gas again, and expands to fill a plastic bag. This bag containing MagniXene™ is provided to the patient in the scanner to be breathed at the appropriate time with the assistance of a technologist and/or under the supervision of the patient’s doctor. MagniXene™ is always administered together with an appropriate quantity of oxygen, the same percentage found in normal air. You will probably not notice any difference between breathing air, which is mostly nitrogen and oxygen, and breathing a combination of MagniXene™ and oxygen. |
