Technology advantage with MagniXene™ production

Xemed’s new technology and its product MagniXene™ outperform other competing xenon technologies worldwide. Over the past ten years research with magnetized xenon has been limited to small animals, due to the low efficiency of the production technology. Since magnetized xenon production equipment can always achieve higher states of alignment by producing gas at a slower rate, we compare the magnetic content of the gas (nuclear polarization times xenon flow rate) produced with different technologies. The signal strength from the xenon depends on the magnetism. By this figure of merit our MagniXene™ generator already outperforms the next best technology by a factor of ten or more. Furthermore, the output is sufficiently high to perform several scans per hour.
