MagniXene™

The principal focus of academic research at The University of New Hampshire’s Center for Xenon Imaging and of commercial research and development at Xemed has been directed towards overcoming the unique obstacles facing the production of hyperpolarized Xenon-129. Our team invented and reduced to practice a dozen or more new technologies that allow each stage of the process to be optimized.

Here we discuss the technology that has allowed us to produce clinically useful quantities of MagniXene™. In separate sections we will discuss the potential clinical applications of MagniXene™ and the prospects and timetable for MagniXene™ to become an FDA-approved commercial product.
