Xemed’s premier product, the Multi-Species Noble Gas Hyperpolarizing System offers world-class hyperpolarizing capability for both MagniXene™ (hyperpolarized ¹²⁹Xe) and MagniLium™ (hyperpolarized ³He). For diagnostic research, drug development, and ultimately for patient care, the combination is truly greater than the sum of the parts:

1. The combined system offers researchers dual modality capability, for protocols with sensitivity to the solubility or diffusivity of the probe atoms.

Validation of protocols is enhanced by comparative studies: Sensitivity to confounding factors can be uniquely evaluated by cross-calibrating with a less affected probe (e.g. measurement of local alveolar oxygen partial pressure is confounded by diffusion when performed with ³He and by solubility when performed with ¹²⁹Xe).
3. Researchers with installed ³He MRI infrastructure, experience, and data benefit from MagniLium’s higher ³He polarization and output while transitioning some investigations to MagniXene™ and adding new investigations unique to MagniXene™.
