Ancillary productsThe utilization of these new imaging products in research clinics requires specialized devices and infrastructure. Human subject volunteers are assisting Xemed and its clinical partners in validating MagniXene™ and MagniLium™. Methods of independently controlling the physiological environment inside a test subjects’ lungs can assist us in interpreting the measurements. We have devised a method for adjusting the diffusion constant of the gases in the lungs of our test subjects. — SulfexO To preserve its magnetization until use, MagniXene™ is provided to the subject in special bags. Also the higher density of MagniXene™ can make it more difficult to breathe through a tube than normal air. Xemed has developed custom bags and connections for MagniXene™. — Tedlar bags A single Xemed polarizer may serve experimenters using MRI scanners throughout a hospital or even spread about a local geographical region. Xemed produces a transporter case for moving MagniXene™ and MagniLium™ from place to place. — Gas transporter |
