Experience initiating and leading large multi-institutional and multinational scientific collaborations and enterprises. Sixteen years experience designing and assembling high-capability systems for producing, quantifying, and utilizing nuclear polarized gases for nuclear physics and medical imaging. Sponsor of MagniXene™ and MagniLium™ as diagnostic imaging agents to the US FDA. Serves on advisory committees to the National Institutes of Health Center for Scientific Review, the Harvard Center of Excellence in Pulmonary Functional Imaging, and the Executive Committee of the Hyperpolarized Media MR Study Group of the International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine.

Has extensive background in the pursuit of scientific discovery through implementation of unique technology, both in academia and within small businesses.

Experience in fluid dynamics, laser measurements of turbulence, and heat exchange from the perspective of fifteen years of mechanical engineering research.

Expert in both atomic physics and human subject research; he implemented the original counter-flowing xenon polarizer prototype and has been a central force in our human subject experiments from their inception.

Experience engineering FDA approved medical devices (Agilent, ultrasound).
